Hantavirus, and other RNA viruses like SARS, West Nile virus, HIV, and influenza virus frequently mutate. RNA viruses lack the fidelity that DNA viruses (such as smallpox) have to maintain the stable genetic information that programs their nucleic acid structure. The enzyme (DNA polymerase), which makes DNA for DNA viruses, has the capacity to proofread what it has made. If a mistake occurs, DNA polymerase corrects the error often by removing the incorrect sequence. By contrast, the enzyme for RNA viruses (RNA polymerase) lacks this ability and cannot correct errors. Consequently, RNA viruses have relatively high mutation rates because they lack good editing devices. The high level of mutations that RNA viruses frequently undergo provides them with a great potential for adaptability. - VPH

Steve Fowkes anti viral checklist

Steve’s Short Anti-Viral Self-Defense Checklist

1. Make sure your vitamin D3 level is robust. This needs to be sustained. Get tested so you know.

2. Take vitamin A. And have extra vitamin A in your refrigerator to take when you catch a virus.

3. Take a selenium supplement. Organic and inorganic. Nudge it with HIV. Push it with Ebola.

4. Cultivate a strong metabolism. Do not ignore your cold hands and feet, or low pulse rate.

5. Stop eating dairy products when viruses are nearby. Keep your sinuses and lungs unencumbered.

6. Balance your metabolism. Being “alkaline” has a dark side.

7. Exercise. Aerobic fitness is strongly anti-viral. Exercise in ways that you enjoy. Make it fun.

8. Stop eating processed foods. Eat organic. Practice dietary intermittency. Biohack your cravings.

9. Take nattokinase for Covid-19 to keep your blood flowing and inhibit clotting and fibrotic scarring.

10. Take vitamin C. If you catch a nasty virus, take a lot of vitamin C.

11. Take extra zinc at the first sign of a viral infection, especially with SARS-CoV-2.27

12. Protect your mitochondria. Take melatonin at night and cultivate periodic ketosis and autophagy.

Each of these items above has a back story in the following pages. Those items above that you already understand and practice should not be your focus. Rather, jump to the explanations for those items that seem bizarre or counterintuitive. Find out why selenium is so critical to viral virulence. Find out what I mean when I talk about metabolic balance, antioxidant defense, and redox buffering capacity.

AIDS as a nutritional deficiency

This is perhaps the most shocking failure of science, not because a working treatment has not been found but because that understanding has failed to percolate out from its discovery.

Look at the names: HIV = "Human Immunosupression Virus". AIDS = "Aquired Immunity Deficiency Syndrome".

You can almost figure it out from that. The immune system is suppressed. There's a deficiency involves. Foster looked at what levels were low, put them back and people began getting better. AIDS reverted to HIV and HIV then was handled in the same way a healthy person gets over the flu. Foster found the four things the HIV virus takes out of you (that is uses to build new viruses) are selenium, glutamine, tryptophan and cysteine. The patients who had HIV but never progressed to AIDS had to have have rare diets that consistantly met appropriate levels of these four.

As of June 1 2015 MERS is spreading in Asia

The virus that causes MERS kills half of all people that contract the disease making it more deadly than SARS and second only to Ebola in lethality. Unlike Ebola, MERS is airborne and highly infectious making it potentially the deadliest virus known. In untreated seniors, that SARS killed 95% of it is likely to be always fata. Like most viral disease it induces acute oxidative stress and massive amounts of antioxidants will almost certainly mean the difference between life and death.

It occurs in camels and has been shown to be zoonetic.

Threatened pandemics and laboratory escapes: Self-fulfilling prophecies

This essay summarizes a more detailed review of the historical record with appropriate scientific references; it is available on the website of the Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation. The author thanks Lynn Klotz and Ed Sylvester for help with condensing the longer report for this article.

No evidence Zika causes birth defects

In the lab pesticides have been show to cause the sort of birth defects Zika has recently been blamed for. The evidence that Ziks casues it and therefore justifies stockpiling vaccines are circumstantial.
