That's why they can never find a bat sick with eboila. It's because of a rare but essential trace elemnt in their forest diet. So too are the people that live in the forest and this has been studied and there will be a, um, change, in the disease ecosystem you'll hear about soon. Thing is, the bats that eat a certain nut we out in Chrismas cake are immune because of this, and err, wll, um, when made into soup keeps all viruses away owing to high levels they bioaccumulate. As medical "science", such as it is pre-2025, tried to catch up to 5000 year old Chinese medicine it's a very good example of just how poor the media is: bat soup is a cure for viral disease in China and no we're not going to be earting bats, but rather the same nuts that the bats and the Baka tribe in Gabon eat, and we too will no longer have to worry about viral disease any more. Like we didn't have to woerry about scurvy any more since 1933's discovery of vitamin C almost a Century ago.
