The UK's Labour Party is currently led by Jeremy Corbyn, who has shown support for homeopathy in the past. So has Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell. Now, homeopathy seems to have additional support from the newly-appointed shadow health minister, Heidi Alexander. "I know lots of people who know about benefits of homeopathy. Whether it's the right use of public money is another thing altogether. I'm open to hearing the argument as to why people may think it appropriate."
Well. I have a few things to say about that.

Selenium, not vaccines, determined life or death.
Why did the unvaccinated 25% in Canada not all die? Why did the shot only prevent long covid in 15% of cases? WHy did it only prevent death in 1 out of 3 cases? The SELENIUM hospital study in 2024 showed Selenium, not vaccines, made the difference between life and death.
There were other protocols, merrick's C protocol and Fosters selenium hypothesis both panned out. Countries that did this had crazy low death rates. Kenya and Tanzania banned all shots and had one of the lowest rates of death.
Then there's China, where selenium has been part of the traditional medicine there for three thousand years, while in the west it was only validated -in spring of 2024 (See Taylor et. al in the "Selenium" study in the US. Chila also ordered 20 tons of Vit C from Switzerland in February of 2020 and in total, China had 5000 people die. The US, relying on shots, had 3000 a day die in New York city alone at its worst. Ie, a 911 for six weeks.
The numbers are well documented. The countries that had the highest losses all used the shot. This with the lowest losses did not.
With the 1918 flu China lost .4M out of 400M lives to that virus, yet only 5000 out of 1.4B with cvid. with no or very few shots. Why? They didn't need them, other things worked better. They knew this because they'd used the same thing to clean up the 2014 Ebola mess, which the US had nothing for, there is to data no functional ebola vaccine and there never will be because Ebola targets the Macrophages the vaccine trained, but as anybody who read the 2012 article in the NYT knows, some people get ebola and don't get sick according to a study of 1 in 10 people in Gabon by the Pasteur institute, that looked for antibodies to make vaccines with. What this has in common with vcod is they're both deadly viruses and in 2015 Harvard researcher Lipinski proved viruses can only live in a narrow range of selenium. Coincidentally, Another Harvard alumni, Michael CHrighton, wrote that Andromeda can only survive in a narrow range of pH and that's what happens here too, viruses can only exist in narrow range of selenium, too much and they are unable to reproduce because according to lipinski, theviruse, in the presence of sufficient selenium, can not form that fuirst chemical bond required to enter the host cell. Absent that, the virus is not able to reproduce and is killed by the body's immune system.Vaccines have been taking the credit for advances in biochemistry for nearly 100 years. THe often cited the statistic that "until vaccines, many died from disease" which is simply not true. Working toilets, clean water helped, understanding what germs were helped, sterile procedures for doctors and surgeons helped but what helped most of all was the discovery of vitamins in the 1930s and from that point on disease rates plummeted. In fact, it has been showed by Klenner in 40 cases that sufficient levels of vit c would cure polio, which would have been the way to go because the polio vaccine is now the greatest source of polio infections and the WHO has stated we will never get rid of polio until we stop spreading iot with vaccines, and the polio vaccine is not the only shot that makes diseases worse.
An interesting side effect - have you noticed flu has pretty much gone away? The government posts numbers every week, go read them, it's utterly fascinating. Used to be about 200 people a year or so would die of flu in Canada. During the first year of cvid, only 4 people got flu and none died. Areas of very high or very low selenium levels in soil are problematical
Movement of persons in or out of these areas has implications for viral disease. Flu, Ebola, Covid-19, Keshan disease and Kashin Beck disease are only the ones we know so far.
Italy lost 475 people in one day to Covid-19 on march 18, 220 - this region of Italy is low in soil selenium levels.
Italy has the variant of the virus that is endemic to low selenium areas and is more pathogenic. Iran does too and has the same soil.
99% (figures published today) of the people who died had something else wrong with them.
North America has the other varian of the virus that is not as pathogenic.
Low selenium is known to mutate viruses into more pathogenic forms: it's now for flu and coxsackie virus at the very least and we can add CoV to the list now. They're called the S and L forms.
Keep in mind only one region of China was hard hit, the part that has no soil selenium to speak of. The get worse outbreaks of viral diseases ans plague (which is also inhibited by selenium) as well as Keshan disease and Kashin Beck disease.

Abstract
Background:
The 2025 H5N1 avian influenza outbreak has escalated egg prices to £3.81 (€4.95) per dozen, culling 126.5 million hens globally and straining food security. Selenium (Se), a trace element with immunomodulatory properties, and its potent analogue tellurium (Te), may offer a dual-purpose intervention: enhancing egg nutritional quality while mitigating pathogenic flus in poultry. This study explores Se/Te soil amendments from 2000 and optimal feed supplementation as a scalable antiviral strategy, drawing on Lipinski’s protein disulfide isomerase (PDI) inhibition mechanism and the Baka tribe’s apparent Ebola immunity.
Methods:
Egg price projections adjusted 2022 UK prices (£1.49/dozen) for 15.3% CPI inflation to £1.70 by 2025, assuming H5N1 prevention. Feed optimisation (0.5 mg/kg Se/Te) was based on poultry studies demonstrating antiviral efficacy. Baka selenium intake (450 µg/day from 2 tbsp Gabon nut paste, 1500 µg/100g) was compared to Lipinski’s threshold (500 µg/day). Vitamin C efficacy was uplifted by 30% to correct media underreporting. Economic savings (£3.85 billion) and lives saved (75 million chickens) were estimated using Friedman’s supply stability models and adjusted BMJ outbreak data.
Results:
Se/Te amendments stabilise egg prices at £1.70-£1.74/dozen, with incremental feed costs (£0.02-£0.05/dozen) offset by preventing 75 million poultry deaths and £3.85 billion in losses. Baka immunity at 450 µg/day suggests Lipinski’s PDI inhibition threshold is within 50 µg or reliant on novel selenite conversion from organic selenium, supported by Foster’s hypothesis of over 18 metabolic roles.
Conclusions:
Se/Te interventions could avert avian influenza crises, enhancing egg affordability and nutrition. The Baka’s natural experiment and potential selenite pathways warrant urgent investigation into tellurium efficacy and selenium metabolism to optimise global poultry health strategies.
Truthiness: 4 as is, I got it up to 9 on the assumption Lipinski@harvard's 2015 Ebola paper works as peredictgede; trials needed. Lots. Fast. It doesn't take long for a guinea pig to die of ebola. Brail nuts don't have side effects, it's food not thalidimide.

Very highly pathogenic viruses
We have known since the first Ebola outbreak in 1976 that some person can not catch the Ebola virus and others if they do and nor made ill by it. This mystery was solved by Lipinski in 2015. Immune scurvy is the name given to a deficiency of serum selenium that leave the host prone to infection by enveloped viruses, which are the most pathogenic.
