Trump - the current administration - permits

Now that I have established why most of what the Federal Government does and spends money on is unconstitutional, why pick Trump?
How many politicians can you name that sought to reduce their own power while in office? I can't think of any especially at the Federal level. Occasionally a Senator or Congressman is sent to Congress to "drain the swamp". If they are not corrupted by the system, they don't get committee assignments and don't get re-elected. Congress resists all efforts to even remove waste and fraud.
No President has even thought to reduce their own power and virtually all candidates that make it to the ballot are part of the system. Many, such as Lincoln, FDR, Johnson, Nixon, Obama, Biden took powers they had no Constitutional authority to take. Unfortunately, the only control on a President's power is impeachment or the voters every 4 years. As we have seen, all the politicians work for their party, not the American People.
Donald J. Trump is the first electable person to even want to reduce the size and scope of the Federal Government. No other Republican in the Primary was going to do that.
The first words of the body of the Constitution: Article 1. Section 1. Read: "All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives."
What Trump realized is that most of the lawmaking is being done by the Administrative State, and which branch holds the bulk of the administrative state: the Executive. It is within Trump's authority to dismantle the Administrative State.
Why would Trump want to dismantle the Administrative State? Look at what happened during his first term, the Administrative State actively and openly resisted his lawful orders. One thing Trump didn't have during his first term was a team of like-minded individuals to ensure that his orders were followed. Many of Trump's first staff were Washington insiders who had a vested interest in a large Administrative State.
Despite the resistance, Trump did get some things done, especially the largest ever tax cut. One of the best ways to reduce the Administrative State is to cut off its money supply. Look at the position the Congress has been put in: If they don't renew Trump's tax cut, Congress will be passing the largest ever tax increase in the history of the country!
Trump came in this time with a concrete agenda and DOGE. Elon Musk and his team of brilliant people. Why would Elon be interested in cutting the administrative state? Can you imagine all the paperwork and millions of dollars in fees he has had to deal with for his companies. He needs to get a launch permit every time he wants to launch a rocket! The Administrative State decides when permits are required, decides how much they are going to cost and decides if and when they are going to grant them. Permits are a main way the government controls and punishes citizens.
Many states reformed their firearm permitting process and the government was even forced to reform it's background check process because of abuse. People would fill out the paperwork for a firearms permit, go to the local police station to be photographed and fingerprinted at THEIR convenience, pay the fee and then wait for months for the permit. There was no limit to how long they could make you wait and then reject you with no explanation. The same was true with Federal Background checks. Finally, the law was changed. In many states the decision must be made within a certain time period and must be issued unless a valid reason is given. If the Federal Background check for a gun purchase doesn't come back within 30 days, the dealer can sell the firearms to the applicant. What happened to "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." That is a power specified in the Constitution that the States can't even defy. But they do all the time and they will kill you if you stand up for your rights.
I mentioned how I was working at a clean coal experimental plant. When Obama came in he wanted to kill anything having to do with coal. Apparently they didn't have the authority to just shut us down since the project was privately-funded. So the Department of Energy changed the permitting process so any change, no matter how minor, had to apply for a new permit. You couldn't move a sensor without a permit! Within a week of the visit from the DOE, virtually everyone was let go.
Where in the Constitution does the Federal Government get this authority to regulate energy production? That power belongs to the States.
Not only is Elon going through and finding waste and fraud, his team is following up each executive order to assure that it is being implemented. Failure to execute legal orders results in firing with cause. Many of the government employees are not the brightest graduates of the country's universities. The tactics they use to get around doing what they are supposed to do, or even get around doing any work at all, are generally not that sophisticated. They are "good enough for government work", but they are not going to outsmart Elon's team.
How did Elon find out that there were people in the Social Security database as old as 200 and 300 years of age? Anyone who works with data knows how to easily find outliers. Why hadn't anyone in the Social Security Administration done this before? Either they are too stupid, too lazy or don't care. In any case, it is time for them to find a new job.
I voted for Trump because he is the only candidate in my lifetime even try to rein in the unconstitutional Administrative State. He ran on it and has a history of keeping his campaign promises, another difference between him and every other Republican candidate. To make sure it doesn't come back quickly, he is proposing more tax cuts to starve the beast.
